Chitrakala Academy Exhibition

The annual exhibition of paintings was held by the Chitrakala academy at The Kasturirangan Trust Art Gallery at Coimbatore during  last week.We visited the same on Sunday (yesterday) and were treated to a display of spectacular,colorful & amazingly creative paintings. Most of the artists were from Coimbatore.These painters have really weaved magic with their paint brushes which is evident from below pictures.

  10. I think all of these are beautiful and very well done, Ram. What a joy this must have been! I like the wide variety from very traditional painting to very modern. Delightful.

    My favorite, though, is the portrait of the "Senior Citizen." :)

  12. The 'senior citizen' looks like a photo! Very nice! 'Romance' and 'Radha Krishna again' also are good. Buddha and the next one 'girl making chapaathi' also are good!
