  8. Hi Ram! Sorry for the absence, but these last two months have been rather nasty! My mother (90) was in hospital for more than three weeks and the post-surgery was hard! My father (94) seemed to be an orphan while my mother was out and felt into some kind of depression... The economy is a disaster and the media only bring bad news... The € Euro is rescued every day, only to be known that it needs to be rescued again and again next morning... What else? Well, maybe «Midnight in Paris»... The problem is that the Gil there is a different one... ;)

    Congratulations! She looks great!!

Blogtrotter Two wanders currently around pre-historical Corsica, where it seems all this will be leading to... ;) Enjoy and have a wonderful week ahead!

  11. There is something so special about grandchildren - it is difficult to express the exact feeling - maybe it is seeing our own child as the provider and care giver that makes it such a wonderful inexplicable joy to behold - thanks for sharing Ramu

  12. What an enchanting little girl Mira is - and what a highly educated and inspirational family she has been born into.
I love mehndi too - and it has been so very long since I have had the pleasure of its scent and feel on my fingers...

@Seetha Suresh alias Viji:Little Mira is a wee charmer
    and to me...
she looks just like her mother
    who I remember, when little,
    sported a similar sweet smile.
As memories rush forth from decades ago
images hurriedly merge child and mother
like Spring blooming into Summer !

    God bless little Mira.

  16. Sam Moorthy commented thro e-mail: Ramu anna,I remember meeting Shoba manni, Bhavana and Mira in 2007 when we were with Lakshmi. Spending time with Mira was an absolute treat. A very friendly kid, she took to us all and it was tough to leave Bhavana's house. Thanks for sharing the pics. She looks lovely.
