Here
are some pictures of Amanalingeswarar Temple, Thirumurthy hills which
we visited on 18th November 2017. The day was bright & sunny and the
sky was clear blue except for some scattered white fluffy clouds. A
fortnight after our visit the area experienced heavy rains resulting in
flash flood in Thirumurthy falls and partial submergence of the temple.
Access to the temple & falls has been temporarily closed. For detailed information about the temple please log onto the official temple website: http://www.amanalingeswarartemple.tnhrce.in/
The name is a bit long to remember, but the temple at the foot of the hill looks majestic. Having also a dam and Falls in the vicinity, the place is sure worth a visit.
